A DEKA breakthrough, the Excilite-µ is designed for performance and low cost. Excilite-µ is a portable, compact, lightweight system with streamlined capacity. Excilite-µ emits high intensity (50 mW/cm2) narrow band UV light emulating powerful excimer lasers, but with larger treatment area (30 cm2) and a rugged lightweight design (19 Kg). Excilite-µ is the latest in UV source technology, capable of satisfying the most demanding professional users. The system comes with screens, which may be used to reduce the therapeutic surface area, to as little as one centimeter in diameter, simplifying its use on small areas.
